Title: Using Employee Evaluation Data to Drive Professional Growth
Presenters: Todd Whitlock, CEO Standard For Success, Dr. Kathy Griffey, Retired Superintendent & Standard For Success Sales & Training Consultant, & Dianna Whitlock, Federal Grants/RtI coordinator & Administrative Consultant Standard For Success
Description of Session: The session will help districts examine how to inform professional growth decisions and opportunities by strategic use of results from the teacher/employee evaluation processes. The alignment of teacher evaluation results with professional growth opportunities should be considered regarding the collection and use of evidence. The session will discuss the sources of evidence that will be used for evaluating teachers and the processes that will ensure that evidence is gathered with high standards of validity and reliability. We will examine the how to develop appropriate responses to the evidence, such as linking professional development to growth over time, both for individual teachers and for schools and districts.
Please bring a device so you can access your schools’ employee evaluation data (current and previous years).
