Hi, I'm Jenny Froehle.
I have a B.S. degree in Education and a M.S. in School Administration from Indiana University with post-MS coursework in gifted/talented education, ELL instruction, middle school curriculum, teacher evaluation and mentoring. During my thirty years as an educator, I taught language arts, creative writing, interdisciplinary humanities, and computer basics to middle school students (grades 6-8) and served several years as an instructional coach for middle school teachers. In 1998-99, Butler University hired me as a full-time faculty member in the College of Education. Following that, I served as an instructional coach, assistant principal, principal, and district administrator in MSD Pike Township (Indianapolis, IN) and Zionsville Community Schools (Zionsville, IN) for nearly fifteen years–most recently as the Chief Academic Officer for Zionsville Community Schools. In 2017, I retired from Zionsville Schools and started my own consulting practice, serving education clients throughout the state.
What I most enjoy about serving educators is supporting them in this complex, challenging work. I love helping them find new ways to reach and serve their students. Teachers and school leaders have work full of challenge, creativity, laughter, energy, and hope; being with people who have devoted their professional lives to education renews me in every way.
When I’m not in schools, I enjoy laughter, lively conversation, and adventures with my family and friends. My husband and I and our two grown children love to travel and find time every year for skiing and hiking in the mountains of Colorado. I’m also a writer, currently completing my first novel, and a voracious reader across many genres. My golden retriever Bailey and I volunteer as a therapy team for adults and children at multiple sites around Indianapolis, including schools.
