In this excerpt from Information Matrix’s “Advancing Education Through Innovation & Technology” episode, Dr. Colleen Moran discusses the onset of Millennial teachers entering the workforce, which is creating a cultural change in the education system.

These young teachers are “very transient,” according to Mindy Schlegel, Human Resources Officer for Indianapolis Public Schools, and they “move much more often than other generations of teachers,” both across schools and districts, which indicates they might not be receiving the kind of support and guidance needed to thrive and remain in the classroom for long periods of time. It all depends on the kind of support they are receiving from building leaders.
