Hi, I'm Robbie Grimes.

Co-founder and Director of Sales Development

I attended Miami University and graduated with a B.S. degree in Education. I later attended Indiana University and graduated with an M.S. degree in Curriculum and Instruction while studying the impact of standards based professional development.

I began my teaching career in a 6th grade elementary classroom where I taught for four years before transitioning to an educational technology role as the Technology Training Specialist and eLearning Specialist for two different school districts. As an online instructor, I taught middle school science for Achieve Virtual Academy, and I taught online master’s level classes at Indiana University/Purdue University Indianapolis. In 2011 I was voted in as the chairman of the board for the Hoosier Educational Computer Coordinators (HECC) and held that role for 9 years. I have spoken and lead workshops on educational technology at regional, state, and national conferences throughout my career.

Whether I’m leading professional development or training a group of educators how to use one of our SFS resources, I consider myself the lead learner. What I enjoy most about serving other people in education is being able to learn from my “students”. I enjoy being able to help someone become better at their craft while doing the same as I learn from them.

I am married to an amazing woman and my best friend, Denise who is an adoption counselor for an adoption agency in Lafayette, Indiana. We have two incredible daughters who are both studying to become educators themselves, and we have two sons who both became a part of our family through foster/adoption. Our happy place is any place warm with our feet in the sand listening to the crash of ocean waves.
