Scott graduated from Ball State University with a bachelor’s degree in technology education and masters in educational supervision. Upon entering education he taught 1 year at Caston High School, 3 years at Greenfield Central High School, then became the school-to-work coordinator at Perry Meridian High School for 10 years. While at Perry Meridian High School Scott helped implement Project Lead the Way, Academy of Finance, and a nationally acclaimed FIRST Robotics program. In 2007 Scott became the Assistant Principal at Knightstown High School, and after one year took over as Principal which is the role he has served in currently for the last six years. Now, Scott serves as the Principal at Monroe Central.
